La Fondamental was our very first collection. It was made up of two T-shirts, one black and another white.

We did some research into ready-to-wear brands and realized that all of them had a basic product that is the most representative of the brand, “The best-seller”. With these t-shirts we lay the foundations of our brand, which is why we called this collection “the fundamental”.

You could find our MalAnge logo in embroidery on the front and the logo designed by our graphic designers on the back.

 

 

Our inspirations for these two products were primarily based on philosophy.

Following the creation of our brand "MalAnge" we decided to make products related to this opposition of evil and good, of the angel and the devil.

Following this we came across the meaning of “Ying and Yang”. Ying and Yang are labels which are an integral part of our life and which are both complementary but also in duality, such as light and darkness.

In addition, we chose to integrate within the popular symbol, the fire which refers to evil and a wave which opposes the flames. This wave is largely inspired by the Kanagawa wave.

 

 

During the development of “the fundamental” several ideas and ways of thinking were intertwined, opposed and associated.

Therefore, following some research, we looked into Bergson's philosophy. In one of these Essays he develops the theory according to which each person has a way of loving, of hating, of thinking... These differences are, according to him, created by our psychological experience and our social or religious identity.

In our opinion, these differences are the essence of creation because they make it possible to bring together several visions or to combine them within the same project.

This philosophy is thus found in our collections. Each person is unique and has their own view of the world.
